DISPOSAL FACILITIES
The disposal facilities have been introduced into technical service in march 1998. The dedication of
disposal facilities is clarification of oily waste waters till the norms, making possible their
reutilization or disposal into canalization system.
The disposal facilities include two chemical-and-physical treatment lines with total capacity of 70
cubic meters pro hour.
The treatment technology is developed by the SSCRF RDE VODGEO, Moscow. Work papers is
performed by JSC "Kharkovskiy vodokanalproekt" and science-and-technology center "Astra-
Tekh", Moscow.
Industrial, drainage and storm waters come for clarification, which, upon mixture, include
significant concentrations of oil products in the interval 5-5000 mg/1, suspended solids 2-100 mg/l,
pH-6,5-8,5.
Methods, used for clarification and corresponding technical decisions provide average grade of oil
products not more than 1,7 mg/1, suspended solids - 2,3 mg/1, pH 6,5-8,5 at the outcome from the
disposal facilities. The complex is automated.
Operations are directed by one operator via computer
screen.
Water clarification passes two stages: reactant water treatment with subsequent defecation in the
combined holding pond, water clarification in a flotator, filtration of water via coal charge in a
filter. Purification rate after the second stage is usually sufficient for emission standards in the urban
canalization network.
Except for water clarification there is also a system of oil products gathering and their return into
manufacturing cycle of the enterprise.
Technological equipment is provided by top foreign firms such as Alfa Laval and Atlas Copco.
Disposal facilities are controlled by laboratory, making analysis of water on many factors.
